Kehani and Matt married in Norah Head Lighthouse

Friday on a Spring day we were blown away with the hectic wind at Norah Head Lighthouse. Changed plans and Kehani & Matt became (apparently) the second couple to be allowed to marry inside the lighthouse! Congratulations, it was a blast …literally!

Nat and Ben’s backyard hitchin’

Today I had 2 weddings, both were awesome.
Nat and Ben had close friends and family join them in their backyard for a ceremony that was full of laughs. Ben halted the ceremony to clarify a few key points…hey, I’m not a referee (unless you want me to dress as one!)

Ben hates having his picture taken, Nat and I were loving it!
Suck it up and smile Princess!

Don’t Blink Photography

What started as a phone call to discuss future weddings, quickly turned into a hilarious 45 minute chat with my mate Leonie from Don’t Blink Photography – Central Coast NSW today. Then I realised I have a ridiculous number of photos of her on my phone.

Thank goodness her photos of me are much better quality…and I’m standing up in them

If you’re thinking of having a private elopement, in a gorgeous location, with photography that’s budget friendly, give Leonie a call.
Tell her Jo from Vows Now sent you!

Get JUST Married® off the beaten track

If you want to Get JUST Married® off the beaten track, I’m terrified of snakes , and seriously unfit , but I’m a great celebrant who’s up for it if it’s what you want for your wedding day.
…Just give me a minute to catch my breath?

Thanks for another great photo Don’t Blink Photography – Central Coast NSW

Melinda and Carl low key elopement

Melinda and Carl married today in a fuss-free ceremony, surrounded by their friends. If you see them on a cruise tomorrow, be sure to make a HUGE fuss of them? Congratulations and thanks for such a fun afternoon.

If, like Melinda and Carl, you want your wedding to be simple and legal and nothing else, I’m totally cool with that!
(It’s what I had for my wedding too) ❤ ❤

“We would highly recommend you…
You gave us EXACTLY what we had asked for. Thank you again Johanna.”

Melonie and Nathan are married

Melonie and Nathan wanted a simple wedding with just their nearest and dearest present. They had recently moved to the Central Coast from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, so Ettalong Beach was the perfect choice of wedding location. Some of their friends arrived at the wedding by ferry from Palm Beach!

The day was cold and rain threatened us a few times. In the end it was the wind that kicked in and made the boys run to catch a flyaway shade tent as it blew off the beach and into the trees!

“Johanna was the best celebrant! She made the day easy and everyone commented on how lovely she was. Johanna is very friendly and professional and we would recommend Vows Now to any engaged couple. We are very happy that Johanna was our celebrant”

Melonie and Nathan have been together for 10+ years, so they considered themselves practically married. I just helped them with the legalities in a relaxed family gathering. Two year old Nixon was completely uninterested in wedding stuff… he preferred to utilise the giant sandpit and drive his diggers around. Everyone was happy!

Thank you to Lisa Haymes Photography for the beautiful photos.

Sally and Michael married at Mount Ettalong on Valentine’s Day.
Billy B Photography captured the fun perfectly. I love that no one else in the world existed but their family on their special day.

Bride and Groom privately eloped

“We wanted a quiet informal ceremony and chose Johanna because of her website. She proved just what we wanted. She was professional and very helpful in explaining the process required for the wedding to take place. On the day she was punctual (in fact we were late) and held a beautiful and touching ceremony. She even provided the witnesses and supplied beautiful photos, all included in the price. We highly recommend Johanna. She was perfect.” C and D 2015

Elopement this morning at Kims Beach Hideaway

I’d LOVE to share photos of the elopement this morning at Kims Beach Hideaway, but until they share the news with family, it’s a secret between me. Louise Blake Photography, my witnesses and the very excited ladies enjoying their breakfast on the verandah at Kim’s.
Congratulations to the Happy Vows Now Couple!
